India's 1st 3A (Awareness | Alternative | Availability) eco-friendly concept - Amnotplastic

Are we back to our conventional life?

Blissful love and attraction towards mud pots, mud cups or kullad cups, banana leaf packing, cast
iron tawa, iron vessels, wood ladles, wood spoons, copper water bottles, bamboo pet bottles, wood
coffee mugs, and even toothbrushes made from bamboo and extracts of coal and neem. Wait! Are
we stepping our feet back to conventional life? Knowingly or unknowingly, to our surprise, yes! We
are. Keeping aside modern and newly innovated products like curvaceous plastic pet bottles,
different varieties of eye-catching colors of plastic bowls, easy-peasy use and throw containers, and
takeaway packaging, people in recent years, have fallen for the traditional way of using kitchenware,
takeaway containers, and started to demand using eco-friendly dine out in events like wedding,
corporate lunches, birthday parties and many more.
For centuries, our ancestors were using pot utensils and proved their healthy life span over the
years. These utensils, like earthen pots, wooden utensils, stone bowls, etc are historical examples of
human evolution. We, as Homosapiens, the name itself hold a strong definition of it – wise and
astute will always evolve till the earth spins. Sticks and stones were smashed and finely sculptured to
use as utensils in the Stone Age period, and there started the usage of eco-friendly products. The
evolution of stone and earthen utensils lies as one of the strong factors of the increase in life span of
the early humans. So, the Stone Age is the golden period of the healthy life span of early humans.
Later, this healthy lifestyle transformed the new inventions and innovations of products, which will
make human life easier and faster, keeping aside or forgetting the health consciousness.
The crux of the harmful micro particles presented in the plastic-coated paper cups was not taken
seriously. Earthen pots and other eco-friendly or nature-made utensils were portrayed as obsolete
or field out in this modern era and were recklessly replaced by plastic utensils; the result, the healthy
lifestyle part remains a big question mark. The land was filled with plastic wastes, hazardous wastes
which will take millions of years to decay. The groundwater was not absorbed by the land remained
plight due to the plastic wastes which formed a layer and stopped the water absorbed by the land.
The stat says, that in these 2 decades, the usage of single-use plastic left our mother planet to
suffocate.
the World Health Organization, and other environmental activists, the organization constantly
holding placards, campaigning to save our mother earth, and pitching sustainability. As a good turn,
particularly in the recent 2 years, the sale of traditional utensils, and cutleries are increased and
people are inclined towards it. It is possibly a good sign.
